Coming back
Nobody prepares you for the gap between being discharged and being able to carry a car seat up two flights. This block lives in that gap.
The first three weeks are breathing, position and load your own body only, done in whatever twenty minutes you can find. Weeks four to eight add a broomstick, then a light bar, then the first carries, which is usually when people notice they have stopped bracing for their back to go. From week nine we train the way anybody else does, with the load chosen around what your week looks like rather than what a calendar says.
You can bring the baby. Several people do, and the studio has a corner with a mat and a fan in it for exactly that.
